The countdown is on! I can’t believe it, but our little ones are due to arrive in just a few short weeks. How has the time flown by so fast? It seems like just yesterday we got the exciting news and now here we are right at the homestretch. These past few weeks, we’ve been hustling to get everything ready before their big arrival. So much to do, so little time (especially since twins tend to come early). One to-do I was hoping to fit in, in advance, was to document details of the baby shower – not only for memories sake, but also as an opportunity to share all the fun ideas I came across in the planning process. So here it is: Our pink, & blue twin baby shower. If you happen to be an expecting twin mom too, I hope you find this post helpful!

The Invitations
Since we’re having a boy and a girl, I opted for a pink & blue theme. I found these adorable invitations on paperless post (I just love the pink and blue prams with parasol -simple yet elegant and perfect for boy-girl twins!). I also came across these invitations and really liked them too (they’re the match to the welcome sign we used).

The Party Supplies
Initially, I planned to use all the Ginger Ray party supplies shared below, but at the last minute I caught a shipping error on my end, and they all went to the wrong address 🙁. Luckily, I found quick ship replacement supplies in the nick of time. In the end, despite the mishap, I really love how everything turned out.
PINK, BLUE & GOLD ARCH GARLAND BALLOON KIT
These balloons come in varying sizes. We mixed and matched to create a mini garland of our own versus the full intended garland. Much less work! P.S. If you don’t have them, a balloon pump and tape strip are absolute must haves!
IT’S TWIN PHOTO PROPS
Instead of utilizing these decorations as photo props, we repurposed them as table decorations (we also taped a few below our balloon garland) and it worked out great!
OH BABIES CAKE TOPPER
We ordered a cake and paired it with this cake topper. If you happen to be ordering/making cupcakes, here is the link to use cupcake toppers instead.
IT’S TWINS CANDY FAVOR LABELS
We bought a bunch of Hershey’s kisses, added these labels and sprinkled them on the table for some fun table decoration. At the end of the shower, we popped them right into the favor boxes for guests to take home.
IT’S TWINS FAVOR BOXES
We added a mini bottle of prosecco to each of these boxes along with the Hershey’s kisses. We planned on adding a bag of popcorn too, but unfortunately the boxes were just a tad bit too small. If you’d like to do the same, FYI – later I came across these popcorn boxes).
PINK & BLUE PARTY PLATES
We planned on using these plates. Aren’t they the cutest? Since they didn’t arrive, we switched to clear plates and placed copies of our invitations below each clear plate for decoration (a fun idea my mom came up with).
PINK & BLUE PARTY CUPS
Since these didn’t arrive either, we used clear cups instead.
PINK & BLUE ONESIE PARTY NAPKINS
We used gold dot confetti napkins in place of these.
PINK & BLUE ONESIE CONFETTI
We subbed the labeled Hershey’s kisses in place of this confetti for table decor.
